no results returned


my query seems to just hang. have tried different number records sent ( from 250 to 30,000) and I get no return data. I have not received any data since 9-5-11 around 11:00 AM. Can you see if my account is locked out or hung up?

Was caused by a job backlog in the Bing back end. Problem resolved by Bing.

I am not connected with Bing, so I don't have any way to check on your account. I would suggest checking your account's status at the Bing Maps account portal at https://www.bingmapsportal.com. There is also contact information there that could be helpful.

I left a geocoder test job running and it failed nearly 1 hour later with this error:

Error: 0xC0047062 at Batch Geocode, SSIS Batch Geocoder [1515]: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.

All I can say for the moment is that the Bing Geocode Flow seems to be down.

Response from Bing Maps Enterprise Support via jgrindel:

503 errors are caused by 10 or more pending jobs associated to a key. The jobs seem stuck because currently the processing queue is under heavy load. Our Operations team is actively investigating the issue, they have found that there have been some jobs which have been clogging up the queue and have removed them. At this time the queue is moving and processing jobs but there is a back log of jobs from many customers. Please wait for your jobs to complete, it may take several or more hours, but submitting new jobs will only increase processing time.
